Welcome to

for the latest updates.
This site features
plans for scale free flight models of aircraft which were designed,
built or
flown in Australia (plus some other odds and ends). All the plans
featured have been
designed using CAD, and are free of charge. You can download them in
Adobe Acrobat format, print them out and build them. Most of the plans are
designed for rubber power, and a couple of them show details of how to
install electric power. Sizes range from Peanut Scale (330 mm or 13"
span) up to 760 mm (30") span. Not all of the plans featured have
been "flight tested" yet (but since they are offered for free, its
"caveat emptor"!!).
As well as scale free
flight models of Australian aircraft, this site also features:
- Scale 3-view drawings for several
of the
aircraft featured (some of these drawings are highly detailed, and some
are basic outlines). Look on the Free Scale FF
Plans page for these drawings
- A listing of aircraft designed and
flown in Australia. This list provides basic details for the aircraft
which I have been able to find, so I'm not claiming that its a complete
list, in fact new aircraft are being designed and flown all the time,
so I add them as soon as I find details. You can see the list on the Aircraft Designed in Australia page.
- Links to other websites with
information about Australian-designed aircraft.
