The CAC Files: Introduction |
Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation was an Australian aircraft and engine producer which operated from 1936 until 1985.CAC used a contract numbering system for each aircraft project it undertook, starting with CA-1 (the first contract for Wirraway aircraft) and ending with CA-32 (contract production of the Bell Kiowa helicopter). This collection of web pages brings together information on each individual contract number, providing a historical reference for all the CAC projects. Click on the links in the drop-down menu above to navigate to the specific page for each CAC project. This site is a work-in-progress at the moment, so not all of the contract numbers have been completed.
