Here is a collection of links which are related to Australian-designed (or Australian-built) aircraft. Remember that there are also hundreds of links on the "Designed In Australia" pages relating to specific aircraft or manufacturers.

ADF Serials
The ADF Serials site is "devoted to providing a complete list of aircraft operated by the Australian Defence Force and the New Zealand Defence Force for the military aviation enthusiast. Included are brief summaries, where known, about their history and current status of airframes which have been employed in Australian and New Zealand Military Service." The site also includes a message board and extensive photo galleries.

Aviation Historical Society of Australia
The AHSA have just launched a new website, with more information and new features. The premiere group for research into the history of Australian aviation, aircraft and aviators.

CAC Boomerang
Mark Walker is restoring CA-13 Boomerang A46-158 in Queensland, and he is documenting his restoration on a blog.

Nick Night is restoring CA-13 Boomerang A46-147 to static display condition, and he is documenting his progress on a blog.

Clyde North Aeronautical Preservation Group
The CNAPG website contains a wealth of information about Australian aviation, including details of individual aircraft.

Combat Aircraft Constructions
A website set up by Greg Batts covering the restoration of several CAC Boomerang aircraft. With extensive knowledge of the type, other aircraft owners have approached him for assistance in their rebuilds. The site also includes a list of all the CAC Boomerang aircraft known to be in existence today.

Grubby Fingers Aircraft Illustration
The Grubby Fingers site features aircraft profile prints (for sale), illustration services, free "walkaround" galleries (great references for modellers) and a free tutorial for creating your own aircraft profiles. Several of the aircraft featured are designed in Australia.

Legend of Aces Aviation
A business based in the United States (close to Detroit), Legend of Aces Aviation offer restoration and maintenance services with specialist expertise in the aircraft of North American Aviation (Yale, Mustang, Texan and Mitchell for example).

The John Hopton Collection
John is a well-known aviation photographer and historian, and his photo collection listed on the 1000 Aircraft Photos website is a valuable resource for researchers or enthusiasts.
